The crossing of the English Channel to the invasion Zones took around 17 hours.

During the D-Day invasion the LST (Landing Ship Tank) carried 20 Tanks, 400 troop soldiers and 2,100 tons of supplies.

LCT (Landing Craft Tanks) fired more than 14,000 rockets on D-Day.

On D-Day, 13,348 Paratroopers were dropped on land far away from invasion beaches, five hours before the coastal landings.

On D-Day, out of 6 only one Paratrooper landed in the right place.

During D-Day, the Germans placed many remote controlled mini tanks called as Goliath Tanks that carried 224 pounds of explosives around the Atlantic Wall.

On D-Day, the Allied Aircraft’s dropped 7,200,000 pounds of bombs.
